Your email translation cost is based on the word or character count of the original message.

Translation of English to Thai emails costs $3.49 USD for the first fifty (50) words. Additional words in a message above fifty (50) are billed in increments of ten words at a rate of $.30 USD for each increment. The translation cost of Thai to English emails is the same, based on each "word" equaling five (5) Thai characters.

We strive for a 12-hour turnaround on your emails. Keep in mind that due to time zone differences, while you’re composing your email, our translators (and your recipient) may be fast asleep.

If you anticipate using our service more than once, or if you allow others to use your account, then pre-paying speeds the process. Translated emails are not sent until payment is received. Pre-paying eliminates the credit card billing step.

You can pre-pay as much as you like. Your account balance never expires and you can go to your account page to view your balance and account activity. To add money (pre-pay) to your account, simply log on and follow the instructions on the My Account page.

Yes. Once your friend opens a Thai Chit Chat account you can pre-pay for your friend’s use of Thai Chit Chat by going to your My Account page and following the instructions for giving a pre-paid gift to another Thai Chit Chat user. Your friend can use your gift to send you translated emails.

Yes. All email translations are charged at the very reasonable rate of $3.49US for the first fifty words based on the English word count. This is the minimum charge.

Thai Chit Chat only translates emails. There are several excellent translation services that would be happy to review, bid and translate the Thai or English documents you need translated. Please send an email to admin@thaichitchat for further information about such services.

You will receive a copy of your email once translation is complete and your email has been sent to the recipient. This email copy will include both the original and the translated message.

Following translation of your email you will receive an email which contains your original message and the translated message. You can then send that translated email on to whomever you like.

Our policy on privacy is straightforward. In short, any information that you submit to us will remain absolutely private. Nevertheless, if you want to email private information such as credit card numbers, PINs, or other sensitive information we encourage you to send such information by direct email to your recipient. Sure. Just open a Thai Chit Chat account and send yourself an email with the Thai or English text you want translated. We will translate your email and send it back to you.

You may cancel a transaction at any time up to submitting payment.

Translation services rendered are not refundable. However, if you have a problem with our work or a complaint about our services, we are anxious to hear from you and make it right.

Your messages are treated as confidential and private. Our translators can see and translate your message text but they do not have access to any of the email addresses associated with your message. Please see our privacy policy for more information.
